Emil Eugean Jaeger, 74, died December 12, 1994 in Salt Lake City.

Born Aug. 7, 1920 in Garfield, Utah to Charles Fred and Anna Clarinda Moss Jaeger. Married Helen Lewis Aug. 15, 1942. She preceded him in death Aug. 4, 1990. He retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. In his younger days he drove his own tractor rig. Veteran World War II, U.S. Army Air Corps. Volunteered thousands of hours at VA Hospital and DAV. He received many awards for his volunteer service. Lifetime member DAV Chapter 8. Held several offices in the DAV.Survived by his children: Richard (Mary) Jaeger, Margaret (Don) Jacobs, Brent (Susan) Jaeger, Debra (Joe) Hopper; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Lisonbee, Delta, Utah.

Funeral services 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, 1994 Redwood Memorial Estate Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Road where friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
