Victims of the world's worst industrial accident wearily listen to speeches in Bhopal, India, on the 10th anniversary of the Union Carbide chemical gas leak. About 4,000 people died that night, and 3,000 more deaths were later attributed to the effects of the gas. A half-million people are still seeking compensation. Indian police arrested 11,000 people headed toward the city for a demonstration, organizers said.
