Our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, Donald Gates Kilpatrick, Jr., passed away Thursday, December 1, 1994 after a courageous 13 year struggle with multiple sclerosis.

He will be remembered for his unforgettable smile, courage, kindness and uncomplaining ways.He was born November 6, 1943 in Salt Lake City to Donald G. and Vera S. Kilpatrick. Married Nancy Lee Coates, March 10, 1967 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Graduated from Weber State with a B.S. in Learning Disabilities and achieved an M.S. from Utah State University. He fulfilled a North British LDS mission and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He faithfully fulfilled many church callings as an Elder and High Priest. While a member of the 151st CAM Squadron he traveled to many parts of the world. He taught school in Davis County School District, taught seminary in Salt Lake City schools and worked at Kennecott.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Kathryn, Karen, John, Krystal, Don III (currently serving in the Kiev, Ukraine LDS Mission); mother, Vera Kilpatrick; brother and sisters, Paul and Geri Kilpatrick; Sheron and Bill Jacobsen; Carol and Ray Southwick; Diane and Rick Clark; Jeff and Mary Jo Coates; and many loved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Donald G. Kilpatrick.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 6, 1994, 12 noon in the Val Verda 6th Ward, 2651 South 500 West, Bountiful. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
