Our beautiful, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ellen Ingeborg Hansson Frisk, age 94, returned to her Heavenly Father, Friday, December 2, 1994, at the home of her daughter in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born September 15, 1900, in Valbo, Sweden, to Johan Wilhelm and Kristina Katarina Wahlman Hansson. She married Karl Hjalmar Frisk on November 22, 1922, in Valbo, Sweden; later solemnized in the Swiss LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1986.For many years, Ellen was an accomplished actress and singer in her native country. She and Karl came to the U.S. in 1962. Very active member of the LDS Church, she has served in many positions over the years, including Relief Society President, teacher and visiting teacher. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed music, flowers and animals. But most of all, she loved her family and they, her.

Survived by a daughter, Solveig (and Glen) Larson, Salt Lake City; two grandsons, Rolf L. (and Jolyn), also Salt Lake City, and Tony L. (and Dianne), of Tucson, Ariz.; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews (in Sweden), and many friends. Preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 7, 1 p.m., at the Canyon Rim First Ward, 3100 So. 3000 East. Friends may call Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East, and at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Funeral Chapel.

You were loving and caring, had a smile for everyone. All of us love you dearly and you will be deeply missed. You deserve this rest from your old, tired body and we are happy for your reunion with those on the other side who have been waiting to take you in their arms. Thank you for everything, Sweetheart.
