Richard "Dick" Douglas Lindsley, Jr., 76, of Salt Lake City, passed away on December 2, 1994 from complications of pneumonia.
Born April 28, 1918 to Richard Douglas and Daffodile Robbins Lindsley. Survived by his wife, Clara of 55 years. Married in Salt Lake City. They shared many outdoor activities, loved fishing, hunting and camping with their friends and children. Richard was a World War II Vet and served in the South Pacific on Okinawa and Korea. He retired after 38 years with the Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor.Survived by three children, Bonnie Murdock, Ronald R. (Becky), Alan D., all of Salt Lake City; sister, Lou Belle "Letty" (Jack) Calloway, Austin, Texas; brother, LeGrand "Bud" (Ruth), Long Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and an aunt, Florence Leonard, a special buddy. Many will miss Dick including his dog, Mobey.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2 p.m., in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road.
