SHARE AUTHOR TO SPEAK AT WOMEN’S MEET

Margaret Wheatley, author of the best-selling book "Leadership and the New Science, Learning about Organization from an Orderly Universe, 1992," will be keynote speaker for the Women in Public Administration Conference on Wednesday Dec. 14 at the Marriott Hotel.

Wheatley, an organization consultant, applies natural science principles of self organization that involve the whole system of an organization in planning its form and future.The event is sponsored by the University of Utah's Center for Public Policy and Administration. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the event concludes at 1:30 p.m., following lunch. The preregistration fee is $60, which includes breakfast and lunch. Registration after Friday, Dec. 9, is $75.
