Our kind loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away December 4, 1994 in St. George, Utah, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 26, 1924 in Moroni, Utah to Isaac Sherman and Florence Poulsen Olsen. She married her special sweetheart, Cecil Jacobson Cox, August 15, 1942 in Ephraim, and in 1963, sealed that love eternally in the Manti Temple. She grew up in Ephraim and attended schools there. After their marriage, they lived shortly in Bingham, and then moved to Manti where they started a successful construction business. She was an active member of the LDS Church, and held numerous callings for that church. She was also an active member of many civic groups in Manti, giving her talents of leadership. She enjoyed being around her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She died beautiful handwork and shared many of these pieces with her family and friends. She had enjoyed sharing her time between her home and friends in Manti and St. George. She had perfected her game of golf in her later years, and won many trophies and honors in this hobby. Her greatest joy was when she could be surrounded by her family or enjoying their accomplishments. She taught many lessons of patience and compassion, and will be dearly missed by her loving companion and friends.Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Melvin Olsen, Devere Olsen, Gerold Olsen; sisters, Doris Miner, Florence Johanna Olsen.

Survived by her husband; children, Ronald (Tami) Cox, Brent (LaDona) Cox, Joy Ellen (Gary) Young, Larry (Betty Jean) Cox, Michael (Darla) Cox; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Douglas Olsen, Reed Russell Olsen, Kendall Olsen, and sister, Linda Nicholls.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8th, at 1 p.m., in the Manti Tabernacle chapel, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and also Thursday, 11 a.m. until time of services.

Interment will be in the Manti Cemetery.
