SHARE DEMERY PLEADS INNOCENT IN JORDAN CASE

One of the men charged with killing Michael Jordan's father pleaded innocent during a hearing in Robeson County Superior Court. Larry Martin Demery, 19, of Rowland entered the pleas through his attorney, Hugh Rogers.

Demery and Daniel Andre Green, 20, of Lumberton, were charged in August 1993 with the first-degree murder of James Jordan, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. They face the death penalty.
