Edward James Olmos, who played a labor organizer in the movie "The Burning Season," is helping raise money to honor Cesar Chavez. "Cesar showed us how to be the best that we can be," Olmos said Tuesday at a luncheon in Kennewick, Wash., to raise money for a statue of the late labor leader. "It wasn't just about farm workers. He was making a statement of human dignity that started with the farm-worker movement."
