Video interactive art in the form of Jeff Sumeral and Bud Anderson's "Vision Problems" and "Evelyn Rosewater's Forlorn Beauty" will be presented by the Utah Film & Video Center on Friday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m.

"Vision Problems," an entry in the recent Utah Short Film and Video Festival, is a 20-minute piece about Sumeral's obsession with bizarre interactive art in Charlotte, S.C., and the subsequent television coverage of his unusual exhibits."Evelyn Rosewater's Forlorn Beauty" is Sumeral and Anderson's latest work, an hourlong monologue by the elderly Rosewater as she sits in a burned-out Southern mansion. Rosewater (played with a goofy falsetto by Sumeral) rambles with yarns about her life, occasionally plays a ukulele and sings, while encouraging the audience to work in their activity books (which will be provided).

The program will be shown in the Salt Lake Art Center auditorium, 20 S. West Temple. Admission is $5. For further information, phone 534-1158.
