The University of Utah women's basketball team wasted little time in administering a 98-66 whipping to Idaho State. Ute freshman Julie Krommenhoek, who led all scorers for the third game this season, buried her first shot 10 seconds into the game.

Krommenhoek, who scored 18 points on 7-of-8 field goal shooting, scored Utah's first seven points - all within a minute. The Utes, who never trailed, shot a scorching 64.5 percent from the field, breaking the school record they set their last game (59.6 percent against Northern Iowa). Their 98 points was the most scored by a Ute team in five years - the last time was a 103-70 win over Cal Poly-Pomona in 1989-90).

Krommenhoek, who made 4-of-4 shots from the 3-point arc and is now 14-of-20 (70 percent) from three for the season, led a barrage of five double-figure scorers.
