SHARE DEATH: MARGARET DART ZORKO

Margaret Dart Zorko, age 80, died Wednesday, December 7, 1994.

She was born June 17, 1914 in Myton, Utah, to Orville A. and Gladyes Walker Dart. She married Joseph Zorko, April 9, 1938 in her family home in Myton, Utah. Mrs. Zorko attended grade school in Myton, Utah and graduated from the Logan Academy, now part of Wasatch Academy. She also attended the University of Utah. She lived in Ely, Nevada for many years where she owned and operated an electrical company with her husband, before retiring to St. George. She was a member of the Ely Does for 30 years, president of the Ely Women's Club in 1971 and 1972, president of Nevada Federation of Women's Clubs from 1974 to 1976, board member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs from 1976 to 1980 and she was active in the Ely Nevada Girls Scout Program. Mrs. Zorko taught Sunday School at the Ely Methodist Church and is a member of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church of St. George.Surviving family members include her husband, Joseph, of St. George; son, Robert J. Zorko, of Laramie, Wyoming; daughter, Peggy Vander Weide, of Redmond, Wash.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Orville A. Dart, of Yucaipa, Calif.; Ralph C. Dart, of Myton, Utah; Mary Jane Reinsimar, of Meadow Vista, Calif.; Dorothy Milliman, of San Diego, Calif.; and Freddie Florea, of Bonner's Ferry, Idaho. She was preceded in death by one brother, Willis W. Dart and one sister, Ruth Leigh.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 10, 1994 at 4 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church of St. George, 611 North 2050 East. Graveside services will be held in Roosevelt, Utah, under the direction of the Metcalf Mortuary.
