Robert G. Davis of Davis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Eagle in Brigham City has been elected chairman of the Utah Automobile Dealers Association for 1995.
UADA executive president Jerry Hayes said Davis will represent 150 new car and truck dealers in 37 Utah communities generating $2.5 billion in taxable sales revenues for the state - nearly 20 percent of all sales tax collections.Michael Day of Henry S. Day Ford was elected first vice president; Alan Archibald of St. George Ford is second vice president; Dan Eastman of Dan Eastman Jeep Eagle-Suzuki is third vice president. Ken Peterson of Petersen Motor in Ogden is secretary/treasurer.
The Utah International Auto Show is scheduled for the Salt Palace Jan. 19-22. Utah dealers will display more than 400 new cars, trucks and specialty vehicles.
