Funeral services for Mr. Clyde O. Bench, age 73, of 305 Hillview Dr., Dickson, Tennessee, will be conducted Thursday afternoon, February 17, 1994 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. John Compton officiating. Interment will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Services under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home.

Mr. Bench, retired ammo specialist for the Tooele Army Depot, died Monday evening, February 14, 1994 in West Meade Place in Nashville. A native of Nephi, Utah, he was the son of the late Millon O. and Rose Anderson Bench. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the First Baptist Church of Dickson. Mr. Bench will be remembered for his quiet strength and sense of humor. He loved to travel and play his guitar. He was married to the former Wynona Searson.Survivors include his wife, Wynona Searson Bench, Dickson; his daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Perkins, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Connie Lee, Purcell, Oklahoma; Mrs. Carol Wadsack, Fountain Valley, California; and Mrs. Wynona Constance, Dickson; his sister, Mrs. Virginia Memmott, Salt Lake City, Utah; his grandchildren, Garret Wadsack, Nathan Wadsack, Laura Perkins, Sara Perkins, Shawn Constance and David Constance.

He gave his life to Christ and told everyone he met about how the kind Shepherd had saved him.

A Stranger was I and a wandering
