Our children have had the opportunity to complete some college classes (for full college credit) while attending high school here in Utah and by "home study" while in Colorado. This seems to be a very commendable practice and has saved both significant time and money.
There have been times, however, when the attitude of a few of the high school administrators has been less than encouraging - even to the point of refusing to accept college credit for high school requirements.Surely some means can be devised to further encourage these youth. Some of these young people are capable of receiving their high school diplomas as sophomores or juniors and receiving an associate's or bachelor's degree at the traditional high school graduation.
