Dixie and North Idaho tuned up for this Friday's showdown in St. George, with a pair of victories each in Scenic West Athletic Conference play over the weekend.

The two teams remained deadlocked atop the SWAC standings with 14-2 records. Dixie ran past Colorado Northwestern 120-69 and Eastern Utah 94-83, while North Idaho tripped Salt Lake 90-75 and Utah Valley 85-80.North Idaho will be at the Rebels' gym Friday in a matchup that should decide the conference title. Dixie will then finish off the regular season on Saturday against third-place Ricks.

North Idaho wraps up its season at Snow.

Ricks strengthened its hold on third with a pair of tight wins, nipping Utah Valley 78-76 and Salt lake 79-76 in overtime. The Vikings are 12-4.

Southern Idaho moved into fourth place at 10-6 with a 96-65 win over Treasure Valley. Salt Lake dropped to fifth, at 10-7, with its two losses. Snow improved to 9-7 with an 87-79 win over Eastern Utah and a 97-69 decision over Colorado Northwestern.
