Ralph Don Garfield, age 57, passed way Feb. 19, 1994 in Orem, Utah as result of an industrial accident at Geneva Steel.
He was born September 23, 1936 in Mona, Utah to Arnon and Beatrice Garfield. He married Linda Ann Broadhead on Dec. 17, 1955.He graduated from Juab High School in Nephi and entered the United States Navy where he trained and learned his trade as an electrician. He loved his family, golf, the outdoors, the family farm. He was an excellent electrician who earned the respect of the people he worked with.
Survived by his wife, Linda, Mapleton; daughters, Valerie and Lori, both of Mapleton, Utah; Mrs. Bevan (Donna) Lofgran, Washington, Utah; mother, Bea, Cortez, Colorado; brother, Rex Garfield and his wife, Linda, Mona, Utah; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and extended family. Preceded in death by his father, Arnon, two sisters, Utahna and Colleen.
He will be greatly missed by his family and the friends he met through his hobbies and work.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wed., Feb. 23, 1994 in the Mapleton LDS Stake Center, 970 No. 400 East. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, Utah and at the church from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Burial in the Mona City Cemetery.
