Anne Shirley Wilding Thrasher, age 71, passed away February 23, 1994 in West Valley City after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born May 15, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of James Albert and Anna Hall Wilding. Married William (Pete) Hugher Thrasher October 18, 1944 in Salt Lake City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of LDS Church. Served as Primary president and in the Relief Society presidency. Enjoyed being a visiting teacher.Survived by husband, William (Pete); daughters, Mrs. Allen (Carol) Todd, Taylorsville; Mrs. Michael (Charlene) Packard, West Valley City; seven grandchildren, Jennie, Garrett, Joel, Wren, Adrianne, Erin Anne, Jacob; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Jaden; brother, Albert Wilding, Salt Lake City; sister, Margaret Clough, Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 noon, at the Taylorsville 17th Ward, 3120 West 4700 South. Friends may call Sunday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Monday, at the church, 11-11:40 a.m.

Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
