George Bush is passing the political torch. His son Jeb is running for governor of Florida, George Jr. for the same job in Texas.
"I'm having a little bit of an identity crisis. Around here I'm better known as `Jeb's dad' - that suits me fine," the former president told an audience of 1,200 at The Registry resort.Bush described politics as a "closed chapter" in his life but said he still keeps tabs on the Clinton administration.
He had mild praise for some of his successor's domestic programs, including legislation to battle crime. But he criticized Clinton's health-care-reform plans and foreign policy.
