Robert McCann Reese, 80, of Brigham City, died Thursday, February 24, 1994 in Brigham City after a short illness.
He was born April 23, 1913 in Boise, Idaho, a son of Robert and Beatrice McCann Reese. He married Glade Stauffer on October 19, 1936 in Long Beach, Calif. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He was a member of the LDS Church and was blessed with a glorious gift of song and was well known for his beautiful tenor voice. He had served extensively in musical capacities in his church and community.
He was employed at KBYL Radio in Salt Lake City. He farmed in Utah and ran his cattle ranch in Uintah County, Wyoming. He enjoyed raising quarter horses and Black Angus Cattle and was a member of the National Cattlemen's Assoc.
Surviving are his wife, of Brigham City; and two sons, John Robert (Robin Ann) Reese, San Francisco, California; Richard S. Reese, Brigham City and two granddaughters, Jennifer and Justine Reese, both of San Francisco, California.
Also surviving are two sisters, Venice Pack, Ogden and Mrs. Bonnie (Ralph) Rampton, Westlake Village, California. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rowena Munns.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28, at 11 a.m. in the Olsen-Myers Mortuary, 205 So. 100 East, where friends may call Monday from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
