Some 32 groups of Baha'i faithful in Utah will celebrate Sunday, March 20, as New Year's Eve of the year 151 Baha'i Era. Members of the faith have worshiped in Utah since 1911, and in 1912, the son of the faith's founder, Abdu'l-Baha, visited Salt Lake City where he attended the Utah State Fair. He planted seeds purchased there on Mount Carmel in Israel, where the trees that sprung from the seeds still stand, according to a church press release.
