The Utah affiliate of the American Heart Association is offering a one-day infant and pediatric CPR training course, recommended for parents, teachers, babysitters, daycare workers and siblings.

It will take place Saturday, May 7, in consecutive three-hour sessions from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Utah National Guard West Jordan Armory, 7602 S. Airport Road (4470 West).Proceeds will benefit the Utah Emergency Medical Training Council's "What To Do Until the Ambulance Arrives" emergency medical training program. The purpose of the program is to train Utah high school students how to safely keep a critically ill or injured person alive until the ambulance arrives.

The Utah Emergency Medical Training Council is a non-profit public service organization financed through public donations and government and private grants. Sponsors are the American Heart Association, Utah affiliate; Utah Emergency Medical Training Council and the Utah National Guard.
