Shirley Yvonne Garner Gifford, age 61, died Tuesday, March 1, 1994, of congestive heart failure.

She was born April 17, 1932 in Ogden, Utah to Edwin Tolman and Rebecca Carlsen Garner. She married Frank H. Gifford married August 15, 1950, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Shirley graduated from West High School and attended LDS Business College for two years. She was a medical receptionists for 11 years in Henderson, Nev. She loved music, had a beautiful singing voice, served in all auxiliary music departments as an active member of the LDS Church. She loved her children, to work with people, animals, enjoyed arts, crafts, gardening, and canning. Retired to LaVerkin, Utah.

Survived by husband, Frank, of LaVerkin; eight children: Peggy Ann (Ken) Horner, Reno, Nev.; Glenn F. (Charlene) Gifford; JoLynn (David) Henerson, and Craig A. (Monica) Gifford, Henderson; Cole H. Gifford, Cedar City; E. Scott (Peggy) Gifford, Las Vegas, Nev.; Tamara (Richard) Keele, Reno, Nev; Rhea (Philip) Padellford, Truckee, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; father, Edwin T. Garner, North Ogden; brother, James A. Garner, Centerville; Kenneth E. (Janice) Garner, Bountiful; Ronald E. Garner, Ogden; R. Dale (Teresa) Gardner, Cleveland; sister, Charlene (Kent) Coleman, North Ogden.

Funeral services were March 5, 1994 in LaVerkin, Ut. Burial was in the LaVerkin City Cemetery.
