Is it dangerous for law-abiding citizens to have guns in their homes? No, not at all, in spite of the surge of propaganda to the contrary.

Of course there are accidents. Most accidents in the home happen in the kitchen or bathroom. We should have a law against having kitchens and bathrooms, right?Do you remember reading a few years ago about the small town in the South that passed an ordinance requiring every home to have a gun in it? The crime rate dropped.

Swiss law requires every home to have military weapons in it, and the owners must be capable of using them. Their crime rate is one of the lowest in the world.

New York City and Washington, D.C., have some of the strictest laws in the country against citizens owning guns - and they have the highest crime rates in the nation.
