Guy Anderson, 93, died April 12, 1994, in Salt Lake City, Utah of congestive heart failure.

Born March 2, 1901 in Sandy, Utah a son of Nephi and Abigail Kelsey Anderson. He was one of seven children which included two sets of twins of which he was one. The family lived in Sandy until 1916 when they moved to South Cottonwood and later Salt Lake City. He graduated from Granite High School. Attended night classes while he was working and studied accounting by correspondence. Guy was working at age 10 and continued for sixty years. Joined American Savings & Loan in 1939 and served as secretary and assistant vice president for forty two years.He married Edith Ellen Beatie, November 26, 1936 in St. George, Utah; later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Parents of one daughter, Gloria Jean who died in 1957. Edith died December 22, 1970. He married Genevieve Hatton, September 27, 1972 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a member of the National Exchange Club, Wasatch Mountain Club; Life Member SUP. Active in many capacities in LDS Church.

Survived by his wife Genevieve; sister-in-law Marie (Glenn) Anderson, Bountiful, Utah and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 15, 1994, 12 noon, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Thursday evening 7-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
