Salt Lake's Days of '47 parade is already beginning to take shape. Anyone interested in entering a float, horse entry, antique vehicle or marching band in the July parade must submit an application by May 2.

The annual parade celebrates the arrival of Mormon pioneers in the Salt Lake Valley. This year's parade will be Monday, July 25. Nearly 300,000 spectators along the 2 1/2-mile route will gather to watch the parade, which is also broadcast live in seven surrounding states.The parade begins at South Temple and Main Street and ends at Liberty Park.
