K. V. Adams, 80, died April 6, 1994 at his home of natural causes.

He was born February 3, 1914 in Pleasant Grove to Daniel Erwin and Anna Jensen Adams. He married Gwen R. Richan January 4, 1939 in American Fork; the marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.Member of the LDS Church, living in the Grove Creed 2nd Ward.

He had been a farmer, dairyman and mechanic shop foreman for the Alpine Schools bus garage. He was an enthusiastic Scoutmaster, president of the Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Cancer Drive, Sunday School superintendent, Lions Club officer, "Rock hound" and teacher of lapidary.

He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove; two sons and a daughter, Daniel K. (Karen Hadfield) Adams, American Fork; Mrs. Alan (Nancy) Christiansen, North Ogden; Roger J. (Patricia Randelman) Adams, Taylorsville; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

K and Gwen have wintered in Mesa, Arizona for the past 15 years.

Funeral services Saturday, 11 a.m., Manila Stake Center, 100 West 1800 North, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, or Saturday at the church one hour prior.
