Orlin Romrell Oleson, age 90, passed away May 9, 1994, at his home in Bountiful, Utah.

A sons of Oley C. and Fanny R. Oleson, he was born in Hooper, Utah, March 3, 1904 and grew up in West Point, Utah. On August 1, 1928 he married Lolabell Garner of Ogden in the Logan Temple. They raised their family in West Point, then moved to Bountiful in 1962.Orlin served in the North Central States Mission and later filled two stake missions. He served as bishop of the West Point Ward, and on the North Davis Stake High Council. He was also scoutmaster and held many other leadership positions in the LDS Church, and was a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple for 25 years.

Orlin worked as a private builder and carpenter and built many homes in Weber and Davis Counties. He also enjoyed gardening and sharing his produce.

He is the father of one son and six daughters: Mrs. Don W. (LouJane) England, and Gwen Burgin, Centerville; Mrs. Jay R. (LaNett) Ward, Alta Loma, Calif.; Mrs. Don (Elaine) Brown, (deceased), son, Aaron Garner Oleson, Burley, Idaho; Mrs. Carl (Lucy) Thurgood, Richfield, and Mrs. Joseph (Isabell Jean) Stringham, Bountiful; Mr. Oleson also had 75 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services, Thursday, May 12, 1994, 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 No. 400 East. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment, West Point City Cemetery.
