SHARE RESIDENTS SOUGHT TO LEARN QUAKE-RESPONSE BASICS

The Salt Lake City Fire Department is looking for residents to take its Citizens' Emergency Response Team course.

The 21-hour course covers the basics of surviving an earthquake and assisting neighbors during the time that emergency public services will be unavailable. The course is open to residents of Salt Lake City and will be taught several times throughout the year.For information, call Capt. Rick Berrett at 799-4151.
