Alanco Environmental Resources Corp., 151 S. Main, has signed an exclusive technology transfer and royalty agreement for Korea with Dong Ah Construction Co., South Korea.

The agreement calls for an undisclosed exclusivity fee and 5 percent royalty on the use of Alanco technology, which controls air pollution emitted from stationary sources such as industrial smokestacks.Dong Ah will manufacture Alanco's patented "environetics dry scrubber system" at its new 400,000 square-foot plant at Chun An City, South Korea. Company officials said the pollution equipment handles not only particulates but sulfur and other gases at a reasonable cost.

The technology transfer, which also includes technology on fans, cyclones, baghouses, electrostatic precipitators and incinerators will give Dong Ah the full range of environmental equipment to enter the large market in pollution control, Alanco officials said.
