SHARE PREHISTORY ACTIVITIES PLANNED SATURDAY

The Prehistory Day Open House will offer activities for the entire family Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rio Grande Depot, 300 Rio Grande.

Activities for children will include making pottery, grinding corn, making petroglyphs and a dinosaur mural. Other hands-on activities include fossil moldmaking, mammoth puppets and sandbox digs along with tours of the paleontology lab.The open house is sponsored by the Division of State History, Utah Statewide Archaeological Society and the Utah Friends of Paleontology.
