Lucille R. Mills, 66, former resident of Salt Lake City, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 14, 1994 in her current home town of Billings.
Lucille was born November 30, 1927, in Spurger, Texas. She attended the University of Houston, the University of Utah, and Eastern Montana College, earning a BA in History and an MA in Guidance and Counseling. She married Norman W. Mills in 1948, in the Logan LDS Temple. Lucille moved to Billings in 1954, where she raised her family, and volunteered in many worthwhile civic, historical, cultural, and educational activities.Lucille served two terms on the Billings City Counsel, and also served as Deputy Mayor. She was active in state and local politics. Lucille has received numerous rewards in recognition of her accomplishments and contributions to area civic and charitable organizations.
Lucille is survived by her husband, her children, Gary, Michael, Ronald and Barbara Charleson; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, a brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning in Billings. Arrangements are being made through Michelotti, Sawyers, & Nordquist Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave., Billings, Mont., 59102
