SHARE SEMINAR AT Y. TO FOCUS ON MIDLIFE OF MARRIAGE

A three-session seminar, "The Middle Years of Marriage," will be conducted May 19, May 26 and June 2 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Brigham Young University's Harman Conference Center.

Brent A. Barlow, associate professor in the department of family sciences, and doctoral candidate Tim R. Thayne will discuss the juggling act between the needs of aging parents and still-at-home children.The first session will analyze new perspectives on the middle years of marriage and discuss the sandwich generation. The second session will deal with midlife transitions in marriage for both husbands and wives. In the final session, topics will include "Staying in Love in the Middle Years" and "Over the Hill or Approaching the Summit?"
