Grand Prize winner in the 1994 Arbor Day Poster Contest is Alison McMullin, a kindergarten student at Sunrise Elementary School, Smithfield. She will receive a $1,000 savings bond and a plaque signed by Gov. Mike Leavitt. Her school also will receive a $1,000 cash award.

Other winners in the annual contest by grade levels, are Cassi Seay, first grade, Polk Elementary, Ogden; Kathryn Ellsworth, second grade, Upland Terrace Elementary; Meresa Wood, third grade, Minersville Elementary; Hilary Wilkinson, fourth grade, Uintah Elementary; Coury Morris, fifth grade, Club Heights Elementary, Ogden; Camron Shekarforoosh, sixth grade, Club Heights Elementary; Jaret Winn, special education, Treasure Mountain Middle School, Park City. Each will receive a $75 U.S. Savings Bond and a plaque.This year's contest was sponsored by Kennecott Corp., Utah Community Forest Council, AT&T Universal Card Services, TreeUtah and the Utah Association of Nurserymen and Landscape Contractors.
