The adventurous and curious and those with an interest in Utah history can get a firsthand look at the infamous Outlaw Trail, June 9, 10, 11, and 12.
Participants will experience camping, team penning, horseback riding on the Outlaw Trail, historical lectures, line dancing, cowboy poetry and Dutch oven cooking.The ride will begin at noon Friday, June 10, on historic Brush Greek Mountain, 15 miles north of Vernal. Rides and other events will continue through 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 12.
Participants must have their own horses, tents, campers and other gear for the three-day ride. The ride will be preceded by a day-long team penning competition at the Western Park in Vernal on Thursday June 9.
