SHARE AUTOMOTIVE FIRM CHIEF TO RECEIVE AWARD

Ramona Rudert, president of Professional Automotive Equipment, will be honored as Woman Business Owner of the Year by the Utah Association of Women Business Owners during a dinner Wednesday, June 15, at the Cottonwood Country Club.

The activities, sponsored by Guardian State Bank, will include a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. New officers also will be installed.UAWBO President Veda Barrie will preside over the celebration and Sharon McCully, chief 3rd District Juvenile Court judge, will conduct installation of new officers.

Cost is $25 for members and $30 for non members. For reservations, call 579-8399.

Rudert has served on the UAWBO board for two years and serves on the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors. In 1990, the chamber presented her with its Pathfinder Award.

She also is a member of the Governor's Small Business Advisory Council and has served as a mentor in the Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training, sponsored by the Utah Small Business Development Center and the Small Business Administration.

Rudert and her husband, Mike, are partners in Professional Automotive Equipment. Founded in 1978, the company sells and services automotive and industrial shop equipment. They are the parents of three teenage children.
