SHARE DEATH: FREDERICK JAMES COLE

Frederick James Cole, age 72, of Myton, died Monday, May 2, 1994 at the Duchesne County Hospital in Roosevelt.

He was born February 3, 1922 in Idaho to Frederick Nelson and Emma Jane Smith Cole. He married childhood sweetheart Norma Belle Gatherum in San Diego and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Nov. 2, 1989.Fred worked for Kimball Equipment, Salt Lake City; served in the U.S. Navy as a chief warrant officer from 1940 until 1945. High Priest in the LDS Church; served as a ward clerk in his Salt Lake Ward and executive secretary in the Myton 1st Ward. Beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by children and spouses, Fred and Robyn Cole, Myton; Frena and Philip Wilkerson, Salt Lake City; Shannon and Douglas Burke, Myton; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Emily Jones. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Meeks and a sister, Nellie Sherman.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, May 5, 1994 at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. Friends may call at the Hullinger-Olpin Mortuary in Roosevelt, Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and at Wasatch Lawn Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
