Our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, Lola Jean Sanchez, 36, died peacefully at her home in Federal Way, Washington, April 29, 1994, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born October 4, 1957 to David and Ila Marie Tucker. She graduated from Cottonwood High School where she was a member of the Madrigals and participated in school functions, and served as Seminary Council secretary. Graduated from Ricks College, where she met Amedee Sanchez; they married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 25, 1978. She loved music, sports, sewing and crafts. She was active in the LDS Church, most recently served as Stake Relief Society secretary. She taught children's singing and performing groups for many years. It was apparent by the tremendous outpouring of love she received during her illness that she touched many lives during her short time on Earth. We will miss her deeply.She is survived by her husband and four children Jerry, Felisa, Nathan, and Megan; her parents, two brothers, Arnold Tucker, Mercer Island, Wash.; Richard Tucker, Magna; four sisters, Marlene Petrell, West Jordan; Leanne Geigle, Salt Lake City; Ilene Barton, San Diego, Calif.; Deanna Thompson, Richfield.

Services were held in Federal Way on Tuesday, May 2. Funeral services will also be held Thursday, May 5th, 12 noon, at Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road in Salt Lake City, where friends may call 10-11:45 a.m.
