Alma F. Boyd, age 81, passed away May 2, 1994 in Salt Lake City.
Born November 19, 1912 in Washington D.C. to Isaac and Emma Aamueller Tipton. Married Virgel R. Boyd August 1, 1931; he preceded her in death October 3, 1992. They resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico for many years and moved to Utah in 1991.She was employed by the Federal Government for over 40 years. Long standing member of Eastern Star. Member of Episcopal Church. She helped organize and served as the first president of the China Painters Guild of Albuquerque.
Survivors: daughter, Carole A. Barnes-Lee (Burr), three grandchildren, Tony Barnes, Tom Barnes, Sandi Kelley, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services Thursday, May 5, 1994, 2 p.m., Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road (1700 West), bluffdale, Utah. Funeral directors, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
