To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Radix Corp., 4855 Wiley Post Way, is introducing two new products: the FW200, which is a hand-held data collection unit with a large display area, and the Microsoft Windows-based Utility Management System, so the data can be downloaded.
Steve L. Raemer, president and chief operations officer, said the FW200 was introduced in March at CeBIT '94, the information and telecommunications show in Hanover, Germany, and the United States showing will be May 17-19 at Chicago's ID Expo.Radix manufactures portable data collection systems for automated meter reading, parking enforcement, moving violations and motor carrier inspections, but because the FW200 has a larger screen display, Raemer believes the number of applications will expand.
The FW200 has a 16-line-by-24-column display. The UMS software offers utilities a modular design and maximum hardware flexibility.
