Myrtle Frankie Allen Clayton, age 80, passed away peacefully May 28, 1994 in Bennion, Utah.

Born November 19, 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James Holton and Myrtle Isabel Frost Allen. Myrtle later married Arthur A. Watkins who is the father Frankie always remembered and loved. Frankie married Kenneth LeRoy Clayton on April 15, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. This marriage was performed by David O. McKay. Kenneth preceded her in death on February 10, 1970.Frankie was an active member of the LDS Church where she served willingly in many positions and callings. She served in the Washington, DC mission in 1979 and the England, Leeds mission in 1985. Her family and friends love her and will miss her.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Heritage Bennion Care Center for the love and care shown to Frankie.

Survived by two sons and one daughter, Richard Kenneth (wife Marie) Clayton, Sacramento, Calif.; Gary Allen (wife Sandy) Clayton, West Jordan; Marilyn (husband Melvin) Holley, Salt Lake; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Arthur Donald Watkins, Fruit Heights, Utah; Helen Ertmann, Midvale; and Shirley Keller, Texas. Preceded in death by a sister, Nina Watkins; and her parents.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 1, 1994, 1 p.m. at the Valley View 4th Ward, 2125 East Evergreen Avenue (3435 South). Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
