Linda Bown Hatfield, 47, of Salem, died Sunday, May 1, 1994 in the Mountain View Hospital in Payson, from complications with a hard fight with M.S.
She was born August 6, 1946 in Gunnison, Utah, the daughter of John Clair Bown and Junita Price Bown. She married Daryle Steven Hatfield, September 3, 1977 in Ely, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, February 22, 1980.She was educated in Manti Schools and attended two years at Snow College in Ephraim. She enjoyed the out-of-doors. She was a member of the LDS Church, a dedicated visiting teacher, and served as a Primary teacher.
Survivors include her husband, of Salem; three sons and three daughters, John Pederson, Nephi; Ryan Pederson, Spring City; Malisa Hatfield, Kelly Hatfield, Steven Hatfield, Jamie Hatfield, all of Salem; three grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Sorensen and Mrs. Phil (Pauline) Edmunds, both of Springville; parents, Ned and Nita Madsen, Manti. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 5, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Salem LDS 2nd Ward Chapel, 60 South Main, Salem. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main St., Spanish Fork, Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. or Thursday at the ward Relief Society room from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Salem City Cemetery.
