Madalyn Laurene Huffman Curtis, age 67, died May 2, 1994 after a courageous battle with diabetes.

Born April 18, 1927 to Laurnel C. and Opal Huffman. Married to Elman B. Curtis, eternal companion and sweetheart, January 22, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was active in the community and church. She was always there to lend a hand of service to those in need. She is a loving daughter of God, a sensitive artisan bringing vibrant youth into the lives of her children and family. Many times her loving arms would enfold her children and comfort them when in need. Although now temporarily removed from us, her presence will always be felt.Survived by: husband, Elman B. Curtis; children: Lynne and Dennis Lougy, Kathy Curtis, Robert and Ronwen Curtis, Janette and John Featherstone, Christopher and Carla Curtis, Mark and Diane Curtis, Lorri and Gerald Van Cott, Opal and Frank Krause, David and Julie Curtis; 34 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Huffman and sister, Gloria Northrup; grandmother, Ethel Rhodes, all of Utah. Preceded in death by brother, Robert Huffman and grandson, Max Curtis.

Funeral services will be 12 noon, Thursday, May 5, 1994 at the Sugarhouse Ward, 1950 South 1200 East. Friends may call Wednesday, May 4, 1994 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive and on Thursday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the ward prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
