Banc One Corp. said its acquisition of Capital Bancorp, a single-bank holding company based in Salt Lake City, was completed effective Monday.
The acquisition was previously announced last year. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.Capital Bancorp was the holding company for Capital City Bank, with assets of $115 million and seven offices in Salt Lake County. Capital City Bank is now part of Bank One, Utah, NA.
"With completion of the affiliation, Capital City customers will now have access to more than 25 Bank One banking locations in the Salt Lake area," said Jeffrey Gaia, president of Bank One, Utah.
