The United Nations Postal Administration has released a special stamp album titled "A Universal World of Stamps - E.T. and the United Nations."

In this new album, the extraterrestrial alien named E.T., who won the hearts of young and old in the film by Steven Spielberg, encourages children to be part of the fun hobby of stamp collecting. In the album, E.T. leads children on a discovery tour of the work of the United Nations and stresses the fascination of stamp collecting.In a foreword to the album, Spielberg says "It is my pleasure to join my favorite alien, E.T. to welcome you to the fun world of stamp collecting."

To help the young philatelist, 12 U.N. stamps, including the International Year of Family stamps and a supply of hinges, is enclosed.
