Dad was born on October 10, 1927 in Salt Lake City to James Albert Fielding and Emma Jackson Fielding. He died May 2, 1994 of a heart attack. He was loved and cherished and will be sorely missed.

Al married Verla Elliott and later this marriage was dissolved.He was a third generation bricklayer and a 40 year member of the Bricklayer Union in Salt Lake City.

He was employed at the University Hospital in Facilities and Engineering when he retired.

Pop left behind a family whose sorrow in his passing will be long lasting: His son, Mitchel Fielding and wife, Pat, Salt Lake; sister, Ethel Moehn, Whittman, Arizona, and her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jay Andrews, Glendale, Arizona; one stepdaughter and her husband, Marion and Wayne Mash, Granite, Oregon; three step-grandchildren, Mike Heroff and JaiCee Heroff-Hutzler; Muneer Sanduk; also his pal, Zarra.

We will say our last farewell on Saturday, May 7, 1994 at 2 p.m. Graveside service at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Latona Park Section). Friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive from 1-2 p.m.
