Loa, Wayne County
Loa will host a conference on aging for senior citizens in the south-central Utah area who live in Sanpete, Sevier, Piute, Wayne, Millard and Juab counties. Officials said the elderly and staff members from 17 senior citizens centers are expected to attend as state representatives. Issues will be discussed and prioritized, and conclusions will be forwarded to state and federal level White House Conferences. "The Future of Aging in Rural Utah" will be aired by Robin Arnold Williams, deputy director of the State Department of Human Services, who will serve as issues moderator.When: Saturday, May 7, at 9 a.m.
