Auditions have been scheduled for these stage productions:

- The Little Shop of Horrors, Pioneer Theatre Company's 1994-95 season opener, on Thursday, May 19, and Friday, May 20, in Room 217 of Pioneer Memorial Theatre, 300 South and University, on the University of Utah campus.Audition times for Equity members are 2:15-2:45 p.m. on May 19 and 4:15-4:45 p.m. on May 20, with open auditions scheduled for 2:45-4:45 p.m. on May 19 and 2:15-4:15 p.m. on May 20.

All auditioners must sign up for a time slot on the call board outside of Room 201 of PMT. Non-Equity performers must check with the stage manager before signing up for an Equity slot. Please bring a photograph and current resume.

All roles are open, with parts available for men 18 years of age and up and women from 18 to 35 years of age. Actors of all ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals will begin Aug. 22 and playdates are Sept. 14-Oct. 1, with John Caywood directing, Jayne Luke choreographing and James Prigmore as musical director.

- You Can't Take It With You, directed by Ron Jewett, on Tuesday, May 10, at the Hale Center Theater in Orem. There are roles for 12 men, 20-80, with a variety of ethnic and character types, and seven women, 20-60, including leading women, ethnic maids, motherly types and ballerinas. All roles will be double-cast.

- Gunfight at Glitter Gulch, written by Bob Bedore and directed by Ric Hamlin, on Thursday, May 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the choral room at Central Davis Junior High School, 663 Church St., Layton (enter the west door by the armory).

Roles for three women and five men. Be prepared to sing 16 bars of an uptempo song and present a one-minute humorous monologue. There will also be cold readings from the script.

Performances, sponsored by the Layton Arts and Humanities Council, will be June 29-July 2 in Layton Commons Park.

- Annie, the popular Broadway musical, on Saturday, May 14, at 9 a.m. at the Terrace Plaza Playhouse, 99 E. 4700 South, Ogden (Washington Terrace). Men, women and children of all ages are invited to audition. Be prepared to sing a short solo. An accompanist will be provided. For further information, call 393-0070.

- The Fantasticks, directed by Kory Koontz, on Saturday, May 14, at the Park LDS Stake Center, 732 S. 800 East, from 9:30 to 12:30 p.m. Be prepared to sing a short song. An accompanist will be provided. Playdates: Aug. 8-20 at Aardvark's Cabaret.
