The 32nd annual presentation of "Take Five," one of the longest-running high school theatrical programs of its kind in the country, if not the longest, is scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 11-13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Little Theatre at East High School.

In a collaborative effort between creative-writing students and young thespians, all five one-act plays were written, directed, designed, performed and produced by East High students.Erik Sorensen is the producer of the 1994 edition of "Take Five."

The five plays and their writers and directors are:

- Death by Chocolate, written by Dylan Rice and directed by Trina Singley.

- Comrades in Arms, Andrew Haley and Courtney Bello.

- Equinoctial, Janna Fikkan and Emily Nelson.

Creative-writing instructor Barbara Murdock and drama adviser Carter Williams of the East High faculty worked with producer Sorensen, but most decisions during the production process were handled entirely by the students themselves.

Admission is $3 for students and $4 for adults.
