Floyd McPherson, age 89, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away May 5, 1994 in Nephi, Utah.
Born October 14, 1904 in Nephi, Utah to Seth Ollerton and Margaret Shaw McPherson. Married Clora Pierce September 16, 1925 in Nephi, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.He worked hard all his life, farming and raising livestock. He was a good neighbor and helped anyone in need of assistance.
Survived by his wife of Nephi; two daughters and their husbands, Bonnie Jean (Howard) Martin of Nephi; LeAnna (Dennis) Christensen, Salt Lake City; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Sylvia Peters of Nephi. Preceded in death by six brothers, Monte, Keneth, Roy, James, Earl, Merle; two sisters, Lucille Munk and Della Collard.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 1994 in the Nephi Stake Center, 351 North 100 West. Friends may call at the church from 11:30 a.m. until services on Saturday. Burial in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi.
